About VapeShopsNearMe

VapeShopsNearMe.org is a directory that helps adults in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom find vape shops, smoke shops and tobacco retailers nearby. You search by keyword, city or ZIP code, and each shop page shows the information we hold: address, phone number, opening hours in the shop's own time zone and, where the business has published one, its website. Browsing and search are free and need no account.

Who can use the site

The directory is restricted to adults — 21 and over in the United States, 18 and over in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. We ask every visitor for a date-of-birth self-declaration, evaluated on the server. This is an access control, not identity verification, and the birth date itself is not stored. See the age policy for details.

What the site does not do

We do not sell vape or tobacco products, and nothing on this site can be ordered or delivered. We are not a shop, a payment processor or a licensing authority. Listing a shop is not a certification of that business, and a claimed listing only establishes account management access to the listing — it is not a licence check.

Where the information comes from

Shop records are imported in batches from registered sources such as government licence registries, OpenStreetMap, commercial places APIs and owner submissions. Every new or edited record is reviewed before it is published. Where we do not know a value, we leave it empty and display it as unknown rather than filling it in with a guess. Third-party ratings and reviews are never ingested or displayed. The data sources page describes this in more detail, and how it works explains the review process.

Current stage

The site is running as a development preview. Coverage is growing and we do not claim complete coverage of any city or state. Paid features are not enabled, and the final operator details, retention periods and launch documents are still pending approval.

Corrections and contact

If a listing is wrong, use the correction or claim route on the shop page so the change goes through review, or contact us. Owners can also submit a shop for review.
